Whether you choose Marble or Granite, we will take you through the extensive range of designs available, whether you want a Lawn Memorial, consisting of a headstone and plinth, or the more Traditional Memorial with Kerbed Headstones.
The design you choose should mirror your Loved One’s personal tastes and represent the way they lived
What you want to say about your Loved One is a very personal thing. But the choice of words will lead you to the style and size of headstone needed to accommodate them – as each letter counts.
Nowadays, the most common choice is the Upright Headstone, made from Marble or Granite and are fixed in place with a concrete base. White Marble, however is not allowed in churchyards.
Kerbed Headstones are full length, with the kerbed area lying flat on the ground, surrounding the plot. Inscriptions can also be added to the kerbs.
Flat Headstones are usually made from Granite and can either be flush with the ground or slanted from the rear. They are available in a range of colours and finishes.
At Kennedy Memorials we also offer a range of Cremation Memorials, which are similar to Upright Headstones but can incorporate an area for the cremated remains.
Granite is the most versatile choice, as it is available in a wide choice of colours and finishes. It is also the most durable and cost-effective option.
Choosing the finish of your headstone is as important as choosing the material and at Kennedy Memorials we will show you the full range of options, from Polished to Honed.
